Collections

The biggest collection in the museum is the artillery collection. It includes mortars, anti-tank weapons, howitzers, recoilless rifles, anti-aircraft weapons and rocket artillery. The centerpieces of the collection are the 152 mm howitzer model 1909, the 210 mm gun model 1939 and the 203 mm howitzer B-4 model 1931.

The museum exhibits dozens of tanks, both Soviet-made and foreign that were supplied with the Lend-Lease program. Particularly interesting are the collections of light tanks from 1930s and legendary T-34 tanks of various modifications, as well as a full-scale model of the T-35 heavy tank.

Museum has one of biggest collections of Soviet self-propelled artillery starting with SU-122 model 1942 to 152 mm self-propelled howitzer 2C19 "Msta-C" model 1989.

Some of the most unique pieces in the museum's collection are the original World War II aircrafts. That includes the legendary fighters Yak-3 and "Aerocobra" and bombers SB and Pe-2. Museum also has a collection of post-war aircrafts, such as a very rare flying laboratory TU-16 LL.

Museum's outdoor exhibit includes many replicas of warships used in World War II as well as a full-scale replica of the "Malyatka" submarine. One of the most unique pieces in the navy collection is restored armored cruiser of 1125 project that served in Battle of Stalingrad. 

Museum's collection includes Soviet military trucks and cars, as well as cross-country vehicles that were supplied to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease program during the Great Patriotic War.  

Museum has a very special railroad exhibit that commemorates the great achievments and acts of bravery performed by Soviet railroad workers during the Great Patriotic War. 

Museum has a large collection of military awards, such as insignia, medals, badges and award documents, uniforms, cold weapons and firearms, equipment and personal belongings of the Ural soldiers who fought in the Patriotic war of 1812, World War I and World War II.
